Ashley Monroe hails from America and is a country-music singer/songwriter. She released two singles in 2007 and an album entitled Satisfied. In 2013, she released her second album, Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe has been in the public sector for more than fifteen years and has spent the majority of that time as deputy city manager in Iowa City. The current duties of the Assistant Village Manager include management of the Community Development and Building Department managing grants, as well as completing specific initiatives. In Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of the village's services, while also working towards the vision for strategic planning of elected officials as well as the entire community. Ashley's previous roles include the budgeting and planning of government communications, the management of staff and collective negotiations. Ashley is also passionate regarding climate action.
