Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music artist and singer. She released two singles in 2007 as well as an album called Satisfied. In 2013, she launched her second album, Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in the year 2015. The singer-songwriter released The Blade, an album that earned her acclaim. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager of the village of Riverside Illinois and has over fifteen years of experience as a public servant, which includes almost five years as the the Deputy City Manager for Iowa City. She is currently the Village Manager's Assistant and holds a wide range of responsibilities which include managing the Community Development and Building Department in charge of grants and special projects. Ashley is in charge of managing the operations and activities of Riverside Village, while also working to implement the goals and strategies of elected officials. Ashley has served in a range of responsibilities previously, such as the planning of municipal services and communication for government budgeting personnel management collective bargaining as well as focus on climate change projects. Ashley's involvement in national organizations, and her work with communities of varying population sizes has provided her with an understanding of the different aspects and similarities in the way different public organizations operate. Ashley's lessons are focused on leadership for public organizations and management as seen from the viewpoint from a professional with years of experience. She is focused on adjusting ethical and strategic decisions to take advantage of today's opportunities and challenges. She also helps deal with intergovernmental interactions.
